Contribuţii documentare la istoricul căminului cultural "Avram Iancu" al refugiaţilor ardeleni din Bucureşti (1941-1944)

  • Subiect: On the basis of an archive material, mostly unpublished, that can be found at the State's Archives in Tîrgu Mureş, the author presents the way "the Club «Avram Iancu» of the Transylvanian Refugees" was set up in 1941 at the Village's Museum of Bucharest and the activity of the teacher Iustin Handrea from Maioreşti, the Mureş County, on this matter. The author publishes also some documents concerning the activity of this club between 1941 and 1944 and its role in keeping awake the national self-awareness of the Romanians from Transylvania, when they were obliged to leave their birthplaces after Transylvania had been given to the Hortyst Hungary due to the Diktat of Vienna.
