Recunoaşterea internaţională a Unirii Basarabiei cu România (1920-1927)

Subiect: One of the main matters concerning Romania at the Paris Peace Conference was the recognition of the completion of its national unity, which included Bessarabia's union with Romania. This important act was not a gift of the allies for us, but it was the fruit of the Bessarabian fight, in the course of more than 100 years of czarist domination. Unfortunately, the implementation of Greater Romania has been but of a transient nature. In the summer of 1940, following the Soviet ultimatum, Bessarabia, Northern Bucovina and the Hertza region, were incorporated, too, by the Soviet Union and have not yet been restored to the motherland.
