  • Subiect: THE FIRST CREATION PERIOD OF THE ARTIST IOAN SIMA Bom in a special natural ambient in the Pericei area, a village near Zalău in 1898, the life and artwork of the artist were strongly influenced especially by the childhood years. The influence of surrounding nature especially over his childhood and later on the maturity of his artwork are transmitted clearly through the bounding between his artistic feeling, the study and mature elaboration of his work, and a perfect harmony of colors. Follows in the second life part of the artist Ioan Sima, after a series of expositions, acknowledges and medals, a total devotement to painting, witch, as the artist said was true belief. Numerous artworks, portraits, flowers, landscapes, or static paintings, either from the first or the second life period of the artist, have a single common subject; strong and complex: the nature. The appearance of the artist's artwork in Romanian painting can be compared with the apparition in the French painting of impressionism, especially with Gougain. As a master of painting, the artist gives through his work the impressive spontaneous power of nature.
