Prima teză de doctorat despre Mihai Eminescu

  • Subiect: The article analyses the dissertation sustained in the year 1895 at the University of Budapest, by Ilie Cristea, better known as Patriarch Miron Cristea (1868-1939), professor, monk, public writer, bishop, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, and Regent of Romania. Miron Cristea, great man of culture, speaker of many languages, made known to the Hungarian public the creation of the Kingdom of Romania poets, even in a time when to the Romanian literature from Transylvania only Vasile Goldiş (1862-1934) another multi-faceted personality of Romanian culture and politics, paid his tribute to Eminescu greatness. The article brings back to the readers this original deep brilliant and well-researched dissertation, according to the author, one of the best written till our days, the first true monograph of the poets work.
