  • Subiect: Museums are privileged spaces, which may and must do more than schools for the people's education. It is a workshop for reconstructing the history with the help of the museum patrimony, and offers the visitors the opportunity of developing and justifying their own cultural identity. Which are the contemporary museum strategies and how can they be put in practice? In the first place is the museum pedagogy with specific methods and proceedings. The starting point for setting permanent or temporary exhibition up is that of joining the technical means with the visual and sound effects, in an interactive presentation which puts the visitor in a player position - to learn through game. The modern museums are foreshadowed by museum scenography, based on realistic elements, which allow the visitor to live in a past world, which is reinvented for him in the museum. The new exhibitions can be made with the IT students' help, who can create virtual exhibitions, but which can be put into practice, with proper pieces and furniture, according to the requirements of museum organization. The museum philosophy is that of dialogue, in accordance with which the museum is, above all, a laboratory and an exceptional space for leaming. The museum cultural space is centred on object, having a creative function, made up of questions, answers and with a museum scenography where the person who suggests is the educator and the actor, but which has a limited theme, being thoroughly divided in time and space, on a didactic structure. The financing system holds another issue in the ongoing reform in Romanian museums. The sponsors, funds accessing from the Romanian and foreign financing foundations and also other incomes from the own activities encompass the present and future financial strategy. It has been opened a new page in the Romanian museum life, which involves changes in mentality, managerial abilities and training in the new fields of projects.
