Lupte dintre insurgenţii maghiari şi trupele imperiale în zona Sibiului (ianuarie-februarie 1849)

  • Subiect: The most part of Romanian historiography about 1848-1849 revolution analyzing the revolutionary events from the first half of the year 1849 is referring, mostly, on the Romanian activities in the Apuseni Mountains and in the region nearby. The same attitude have both Magyar and German historians. This study emphasizes the fact that the revolutionary events in Transylvania (year 1848-1849) must be treated together and, in the first place, Romanian historiography must do that thing because, now, Transylvania is a part of Romania. Also, the study suggests that some events from that time must be reconsidered and replaced in them place in the equation of revolution. One of these events is the fight near Sibiu, where general Bem's army confronted the imperial army, that, for the first time, for a confrontation with the enemy, was brought in one place.
