Dinamica populaţiei oraşului Jibou reliefată în izvoarele demografice (1850-1941)

  • Subiect: THE DYNAMIC OF THE POPULATION FROM JIBOU FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC SOURCES (1850-1941) The objective of the present research contains the dynamic of the population from Jibou comprising aspects regarding the ethical structure, de natural movement of population, the evolution of natality and mortality, the average growing of population and its natural progress. All these aspects are meant to provide precious information for the theme submitted to the research. The temporal segment I'm referring to is delimited between 1850-1941, period in which in compliance with the demographic sources, the dynamic of population registered an ascending course. Regarding the ethical structure of the population from Jibou, in 1880 the hungarian population detained the biggest statistica! weight 1256 inhabitants, being followed by the romanian population with 260 inhabitants which represented 16,15% and german population which had 1,42%. Between 1900 and 1910 the values are modified but the hierarchy remains. 1,42%. The jewish population in 1941 counts 37 persons while the number of gipsy people is 22, representing 0,62% from the total of the population. Regarding the confessional structure, between 1857-194, the major confession was represented by reformers 75,89%, followed by the greek-catholics 18,60%, and on the third place the roman-catholics with 36 believers representing 3,14%. The jewish have 1,83%, the unitarians - 0,34% and the lutheran confession comprises 2 believers and a percent of 0,17%. In 1857 and 1880, the orthodox confession has no representative. Only in 1990 comprises 5 believers, an insignificant value in comparison with the other confessions. In 1941 the orthodox confession reaches 1,05% respectively 37 believers.
