Universul spiritual din Mărginimea Sibiului

  • Subiect: The Spiritual Universe of Mărginimea Sibiului represents the title of a temporary exhibition varnished in 2008 at The ASTRA National Museum Complex, Sibiu. First we present a short historical inroad of the scientific research in Mărginimea Sibiului (that means 17 Romanian villages with cultural, historical and ethnographical characteristics during the time), in the second half of the 20th century. The exhibition presents both the public and the particular aspects of the spiritual universe. The role of the Orthodox religion, of the Church, the laic Culture, the Customs and Traditions are pointed out, in a chronological presentation, from the 18th century to the present day. The exhibition is the mirror of the present scientific research of our institution.
