Subiect: Remember. A Diversion in the Historiography, or Army of Country and Mercenaries in „The Battle for Rovine” Explanatory Notes and Testimonies from 1986-1988 The author investigates the recent historiography regarding the date and the consequences of the Battle from Rovine (10 October 1394). This investigation was censored by the communist regime a quarter of century ago. There are presented many historians, journalists, party activists who enriched the theories regarding the reign and personality of Mircea cel Bătrân Vv. 26 IX 1386 - 31 I 1418), opportunistically called in that period ”the Great”.
