Două tezaure monerare din judeţul Sălaj

  • Subiect: Two Coin Hordes from the Sălaj District The paper deals with two coins hoards found in the Bobota village and in the town of Şimleul Silvaniei. The first one consists of 36 coins issued in Austria, Liegnitz-Brieg, and Württemberg Oels. It belongs to the long series of coin hoards buried after the Austrian intervention in Transylvania (see f. n. 2). The hoard was buried in 1694/95. The second one, consisting of 149 Austro-Hungarian coins and a Montenegro coin (including a considerable amount of small change) issued between 1892-1916, was buried during the troubles associated with the fall of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, in 1918.
