Noi aşezări rurale înfiinţate pe moşiile statului din judeţul Neamţ cu ocazia împroprietăririi însurăţeilor din anul 1878

  • Subiect: This study is based on a large unpublished documentation taken from the State Archives of Piatra Neamţ. The agrarian reform of 1864 raised the problem of organizing the villages on modern bases. As a consequence of applying the articles 5 and 6 from the rural law of 1864 there appeared on the properties of state of the county Neamţ, a commune and six new villages. These rural settlements were conceived on some modern principles in order to assure the necessary conditions for the development of the capitalist forms of labour, life and culture. In our literature of speciality the aspect of the creation of the new modern rural settlements wasn't, up to now, the subject of special research. The author presents the difficulties which occurred in the action of moving of those who were appropriated, from the new villages. The study gives us the opportunity to see the image of the new rural settlements from the county Neamţ, the way in which they were built (the dwellings were chiefly in the centre of the village) the social and economic transformations in the life of these villages, the conditions of living of the peasants who were appropriated and the contradictions which take place in the new villages in the period of the development of the new capitalistic production relations in our agriculture at the end of the 19th century.
