  • Subiect: The paper George Enescu and his concerts in Targoviste promote the events of the famous conductor, musician, composer, violinist, pianist and musical landmark of the Romanian and European elite in the first half of the twentieth century and also the echo of these concerts in the local press. The concerts of George Enescu (1881-1955) in the city of Targoviste can be considered an expression of the intellectual elite’s desires, in the beginning of the century.
