Aşezările cucuteniene de tip Solonceni

Subiect: The author presents some settlements with common features, which he considers to belong to Solonceni regional aspect of the Cucuteni culture. The Solonceni aspect was introduced in the archaeological literature by T.G. Movša and its characteristics were delineated by N.M. Vinogradova. The present contribution is a review of the main discoveries from several Solonceni-type settlements, trying to establish the time span of this regional aspect within the Cucuteni culture. Resuming, the genesis moment of the Solonceni aspect is to be found in the transitional stage between the A and A-B phases of the Cucuteni culture, succeeding the Drăguşeni-Jura aspect.
