Subiect: This short paper presents one of the great land owners of the seventeenth century Moldavia and the means he used to increase his estates. Lupu Prăjescul was an official of the Moldavian court (fulfilling several administrative ranks) during nine different rulers. Throughout his career he continuously strengthens his wealth, which was based mainly on the acquisition of land.
