Subiect: The first part of the paper discusses the subject of the great bell of the church Sfântul Ioan Domnesc from Piatra Neamţ, object that remained unknown to the specialised literature although there are numerous articles regarding the history of the church and of the Princely Court. According to the inscription, the bell was cast in 1791, October 1st in Braşov by the craftsman Lorenz Seuller at the request of several citizens from Piatra Neamţ. The second part of the article presents a number of tombstones inscriptions dated in the eighteenth century-the beginning of the nineteenth century.
