Subiect: The paper presents the application of optical microscopy (OM) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) in the research of corrosion crust morphology and microstructure of a series of archaeological metal fragments found in the necropolis of Gabara - Moldoveni, Neamţ County. The study reveals complex structures formed under the influence of the burial environment and pedological factors and highlights physical deterioration and chemical alteration processes.
