Subiect: The present study attempts to present the problems raised by the restoration of a medieval, archaeological, ceramic vessel, which was previously restored, immediately following its discovery, with some unfortunate results, however, in terms of the object’s physical integrity and aesthetics. Due to its precarious condition, the piece went under the inspection of the preservation committee which proposed its urgent restoration.
