Subiect: Due to the ever increasing archaeological data, practice has demonstrated that we must not neglect the multiple possibilities of information processing offered by the new electronic computer methods. In this respect, the first step to be accomplished is to establish a system model capable to embrace, in an as simple order as possible, all the characteristic element descriptions of archaeological finds. Such a system has to reply to the followings: to be universal applicable; to be unlimited from the archaeological finds and their characteristics point of view; to use catalogue terms with or without accompanying descriptive numerical codes in order to sort, list and update with the computer the object catalogue; to be able to establish the connections between archaeological, anthropological and paleo zoological descriptions; to allow the identification of the described find with the collection it belongs and for the published volume. Recently, the archaeological data cataloguing has received an international attention. The designed system model (Fig. 1 ) , takes in account all the above enumerated conditions and finally leads to the elaboration of a computer file - called data base.
