At these necklaces of ornament, called by Karl Marx "social expresses of plenty and richness", coins of the most difference provenience and names are put together, their variety stretches on a rather long period of time: the 11th – the 19th centuries. Among these, the present paper records the existence on the territory of Neamţ county of two silver coins emitted by the Venetian doges Pedro Gradonigo (1289-1310) and Giovano Soranzo (1312-1328), in a period when the Byzantine coin was still preponderant, a ducat-medal emitted by Pedro Grimani in 1749, a monetary sample of the thaler-medal emitted by Constantin Brâncoveanu in 1713 and a 1/8 of ducat emitted by the town of Nürenberg in the second half of the 18th c. Finally, three ducat divisions emitted by Carlo Emanuele for the town of Milano, in the period 1743-1746 are presented; they are 1/6, 1/8 and 1/12 ducat having religious representations both on the obverse and the reverse and being classified as undated and unepigraphic coins.
