Câteva date despre proprietăţile episcopale în epoca regulamentară

  • Subiect: After 1500 with the establishment of Buzău Diocese the whole area had only to gain legal representation. The journeys to the High Court of Judgement from Bucharest were no longer necessary. Only the more complicated cases were still sended there. In time the church assets became more and more valuable with the donations from the high class led by religious zeal. The leaders of the church became aware of this and tried to take advantage of the situation with numerous acquisitions. Numerous legal confrontations from the past that were engaged for the preservation of the Diocese assets bring in front of us remarcable figures from the history of the Buzău, Brăila, Saac and Slam Râmnic regions.
