Biodiversitatea în judeţul Vaslui

  • Subiect: Biodiversity in Vaslui County refers to specific natural grasslands and forests with Central-European representatives, and specific influences of the steppe flora. In this county there are as many as 9 protected nature areas of national interest, 10 sites of community interest, 3 sites Bird Protection, and 8 monuments of nature (secular trees). In Vaslui County ten sites of Community importance had been coined. Some of them are declared as national and natural reserves: "Movila lui Burcel”, “Fânaţul de la Glodeni”, “Coasta Rupturile” - Tanacu, Pădurea Bădeana, Pădurea Seaca-Movileni, Pădurea Hârboanca, Pădurea Talaşmani, Forest Pădurea Bârnova - Repedea, Râul Prut, Lunca Joasă a Prutului. The Government Decision no. 1284/2007 declared the Bird special protection areas as part of the European ecological network ”Natura 2000” in Romania. Therefore, in Vaslui County were designated three Special Bird Protection Areas: Micleşti and Bârnova forests, Prut - Vlădeşti – Frumuşica Meadow. In conclusion, addressing priority biodiversity in Vaslui County was based on the principles of sustainable development of society and in full compliance with the National Environmental Action Plan, respectively the Economic and Social Development Program for 2007-2013 Vaslui County.
