  • Subiect: Abstract: This paper discussed several hypotheses and questions regarding Dacian treasures of silver, one of these hypotheses referring to the possibility that they were part of the thaumaturgic clothing of Dacian priests. Daci an treasures of silver ( JS1 century BC- JS1 AD) differ from the o Jder sumptuous ones belonged to the Getaes from 41h-Jth centuries BC, which are princely treasures. It is highlighted the great skill of Celtic craftsmen in silver working and perhaps the emergence of the polychrome style in Europe. There is treated as a hypothesis, the distinction between the religion of Dacians and Getaes and it is shown the role of the Dacian cup in rituals until the turn to Christian ity.
