Unirea Dobrogei cu România (14 noiembrie 1878)

Subiect: The study presents the circumstances regarding the unification of the province situated between the Danube and Black Sea with Romania as a consequence to the victory of the Romanian army in the war against the Ottoman Empire in the years 1877 – 1878. Moreover, there are presented the administrative measures taken by the Romanian government in November 1878, as well as the conclusions belonging to civil and military commissions sent in Dobrogea after signing the peace treaty of Berlin. It is also presented the demographic situation of Dobrogea in the years 1878 – 1879, as well as the Romanian – Bulgarian border line in the southern part of Dobrogea.
