  • Subiect: The National Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Rm. Vâlcea was and remains a project characterized by a substantial dose of unique, novel derived from the fact that the organization and financing of this major exhibition was privately owned, from the large number of artists participating, from the quality of the works exhibited, from the fact that almost all genres of art were showed there, from the successful attempt that this artistic approach define, as possible, the artistic movements, the trends characterizing the Romanian fine arts at the beginning of the third millennium, from the fact that they managed to reconsider the idea of "center" and Rm. Vâlcea, a provincial town, became the capital of the Romanian artists between 5 to 11 August 2011. The attempt was actually, a "radiography" of the artistic phenomenon in Romania at this time, at a relatively short time after the entry of Romania into the European Union, now when the Romanian culture faces the process of globalization.
