Gâlceavă pe mormântul lui Constantin Brâncoveanu

Subiect: The author tells the story of a dispute between curator Virgiliu Drăghiceanu and Ion Ungureanu, psalm reader at the St. Gheorghe Nou church in Bucharest – concerning the discovery of the burial place of Wallachian ruler Constantine Brancoveanu, executed by the Ottomans, as the sultan’s enemy, in 1714, buried first at a monastery on the Halki island, then brought to Walachia by the care of his wife, lady Marica, and discreetly re-buried at the above-mentioned St. Gheorghe Nou church in Bucharest (church founded by the ruler himself).
