Despre activitatea naţională a lui Alexandru Vaida Voevod în zilele premergătoare Unirii din 1918

Subiect: The dismemberment of Austria–Hungary, the deed of the principle of nationalities, principle that took the place (little by little) of the European balance of powers, conferred Romanians and Romania a special place in the historical processes situated in a rapid spread out. Towards the end of the year 1918, the fighting for the perfection of the national unity of the Romanian people entered its decisive phase. In Octomber/November the Romanians took the great decisions that will inaugurate a new political era for Transylvania and Bucovina. Alexandru Vaida Voevod΄s contribution in taking these decisions, his initiatives, the drafting of some major political acts, the contacts and the political treaties which he dealt with out of duty from the National Romanian Party, all these are relevant in order to assert that the tumultuous autumn of 1918, when the desideratum of liberty and national unity of all Romanians was finalized. The part of Alex. Vaida Voevod was very important.
