Alegerile anului 1946 în documente de arhivă vâlcene

  • Subiect: On 19 November 1946, the last democratic parliamentary elections took place in Romania, elections disputed between more parties and which have resulted in the establishment of the Communist regime in Romania. The results of these elections were rigged and most documents were destroyed. Falsification procedures were applied to the last polling stations and in Vâlcea county documents from the Romanian Communist Party (PCR) have been preserved, showing what party would have to win the elections in Vâlcea, how members of historical parties were prevented to vote and what pressures have been used to falsify the results. In the end, the methods used by the Communists at national level are listed.
