Subiect: The church dedicated to "St. Great Martyr Dimitrie " is considered to be the oldest historical monument of Râmnicu Vâlcea and even though the present monument is orthodox, its construction is attributed to the catholic community in medieval Râmnic. The archaeological researches in 2012 began in July and were made as a result of some extension works, more precisely, when a covered porch was built at the church entrance.
