Arta lemnului în plastica lui Ovidiu Maitec

  • Subiect: The article deals with the presentation of a well-known personality belonging to the Romanian contemporary sculpture, Ovidiu Maitec. The artist is recognised in our country as well as internationally. He can be considered as one of the greatest creators of volumes of the entire sculpture, beyond any epic of the form, where the surface is not let out of control or treated like a subsidiary reality. His creations can be seen in the collection ofthe Art Museum ”Casa Simian” through his work ”Poarta”. The creation was made with less plastic means, which makes it become a true symbol.
