Preliminariile Bătăliei din zona Sibiu-Câineni

Subiect: Preliminaries of the Battle of Sibiu-Câineni area (13-16/26-29 September 1916) are foreshadowed by limited attacks in both camps aimed at improving their positions in various sectors of the front: that of the Austro-Germans in the night 2-3/15-16 September 1916, and the "triple" of the Romanians in 6/19 and 9/22 September 1916. Also, by the "double" of the Romanians in 9/22 September 1916, sought, on the one hand, to deprive the enemy of the possibility of intervention on the main communication between Făgăraş and Sibiu, to the right flank of Div. 13 Inf., and on the other, to establish the identity and amount of enemy forces, whose presence and action in the left flank of Div. 23 Inf. Became increasingly troubling.
