Comunişti în închisoarea de la Ocnele Mari (1918-1938)

Subiect: During the interwar period, the prison from Ocnele Mari was famous for various reasons: the prisoners brought here (for instance the nine leaders of the Rebellion from Tatar-Bunar in 1924, Mihail Gheorghiu-Bujor, the first political prisoner from the interwar period, Gheorghiu-Dej and Chivu Stoica - future leaders of the communist Romania, and others), due to the hard work the convicts had to do - basically an extermination programme - and due to the interesting stories which happened here and that can explain many blank pages from the unlawful period of the Communist Party in Romania. The article contains many striking documents about a prison which no longer exists, along with its lost archive.
