Construcţiile pastorale din zona de fâneaţă. Bazinul superior al Râului Argeş

  • Subiect: Researching and analysing the phenomenon of grassland constructions is of great importance at present, given the pronounced and growing dissolution of the activities that used to revolve around these specialized buildings. This article aims at retracing aspects related to daily life at such huts located in the upper basin of the Argeş River, at establishing the periods of time when they were used and at bringing forth a concise typology of the pastoral huts and the annex buildings developed in the grassland areas. The typological series does nat claim tobe a complete one, only the constructions specific to a limited space in the sub Carpathian area being analysed in this study. The present work is mainly based on field research undertaken in September 2015, to which information /rom previous research made by the Museum of Popular Techniques (the present-day ASTRA Museum ofTraditional Folk Civilization) and /rom other studies related to the covered area was added.
