  • Subiect: Apart from the vehicles on wheels, the traditional means of transport in Ţara Oltului used to comprise other means of human and weight transport as well, the ones replacing the wheels with wooden runners during winter (the sledges). The first part of aur paper refers to types of sledges, their function and terminology in this ethnographic region. The second part will focus on traditional means of transport for dragging loads on land.
