Interferenţe culturale, modele şi coduri în vestimentatia traditională si modernă

  • Subiect: The clothing represents a semiotic system that is extremely well codified, including besides the fundamental codes of genre (masculine, feminine), social codes that correspond to classes, hierarchies, statues, respectively stylistic codes. In addition to a technical-functional dimension, the clothing implies a social and cultural dimension, being in the same time the domain mostfrequently accessed by daily use in terms of dialog and cultural interfaces. In a historical perspective, the distinctions traditional-modern are rejlected at the leve! of clothing codification, on the one hand through a more rigid codification of the statues and socio-professional classes in traditional clothing, on the other hand, through a jlexibility of the modern clothing codification in which styles and cultural interfaces outrun the social codifications. Thereby, the ideologica!, the mental transformations of the world are taken up and expressed by the clothing transformations that are perceived as tastes and styles; even if they are superficial, esthetical transformation, these capture even deeper echoes of some anthropological travel patterns.
