Vehicule tradiţionale de mici dimensiuni din Ţara Oltului (II)

  • Subiect: The material is the second part contained in previous issue of Cibinium and refers to two means of transportations in the form of small vehicles used in the Land of Olt until the second half of the twentieth century: the trolley with two or faur wheels manually driven and used for agricultural transport in the homestead or within the village and that continues tobe used with upgrades, notably by replacing wood with metal and a small vehicle used primarily as an annex to move the plough during ploughing, but alsa for the transport of the tumbrels during ploughing time: plough 's wheels. The latter, being entirely made of wood were replaced in the same period with metal wheels or discarded from ploughing through mechanical means. Here are described the morphology,functions and terminology of the two vehicles.
