  • Subiect: The free peasants communities are very old, from the ancient times in Romania and they've rebirth, miraculously, after 1989. Through the ages those clase communities from the Buzău area have seen a tormented history and these stories are just a small part of it. After the free peasants from Buzau river valley, those from the Slănic area, will be more determined in defending their ancient rights from anybody ready to trespass them. Those efforts were not always successful, but they continued, for generations, in legal inquiries at all levels. Those from Lopatari were an example to follow for the others, especially after the measurements taken by the state in the second half of the XIX century and after the introduction of the Silvic Code from 1910.
