  • Subiect: The main purpose of observing the psychological aspects of wax-makers from Sebeşul de Jos is to harness the Scientific Archive of the ASTRA National Museum Complex. Following the research focused on wax-making between 1959 and 1961, the wax-maker sheets, created on the occasion of the field research, are a snapshot of certain aspects that can be interpreted in order to understand the psychology of the wax-makers from the above-mentioned centre. This data reinterpretation has the role of harnessing these sheets for a more profound understanding of the life and social relations from that respective locality (family relations, dangers of the occupation, subordination or collaboration relations between the members of the community, etc.). This approach has the role of reopening and improving the research started by the founders of the museum by means of integrating the aspects of social history, aspects more than necessary for the understanding of the communities living in the localities from where technical installations have been transferred to the Folk Technology Museum.
