Făgetele situate pe altitudinile joase ale dealurilor Tăşnadului

  • Subiect: About beech forests situated on the low altitudes of Tăşnad hills. In the hillside region of north-western Romania, beech forests occur on low altitudes till 200m as small clusters. They form two types of plant associations: Carpino-Fagetum Paucă 1941 and Festuco drymejae-Fagetum Morariu & al, 1968. The second mentioned plant association is characteristic for the Romanian Carpathians region. During the phytocoenological analyses it was recorded the presence of some small clusters of Carpino-Fagetum, but in case of other sites Fagus sylvatica (together with Festuca drymeja) was the dominant species in the tree layer. In consequence the analyzed vegetation was included in two different plant associations presented in the following article.
