Memoriile de război ale locotenentului Petru Agarici din Regimentul 12 Infanterie „Dimitrie Cantemir”, Bârlad

Subiect: „The Lieutenant in Reserve Petru Agarici of Grumezoaia (Vaslui County) was part of the 12th Infantry Regiment "Dimitrie Cantemir" of Bârlad and fought with his military unit on the offensive of the Romanian Second Army in Transylvania against Austria-Hungary. In July 1917, he participated with the same regiment to the Romanian offensive Battle of Mărăşti and then to the defensive Battle of Oituz (July-August 1917). Following his personal experiences on the Romanian fronts of the First World War, Petru Agarici left us interesting notes in his war diary. We consider is important to detail in this article all of his troubles related to his participation to the first world conflagration, recorded with special eloquence in a manuscript still under scrutiny.”
