Aspecte privind reorganizarea depozitelor de bunuri culturale din cadrul Muzeului Judeţean Buzău

  • Subiect: Aspects concerning the reorganization of the cultural collections deposits in the Buzău County Museum The museum is an institution at the service to the society, which purchases, preserves, communicates and, most of all, exhibits, for the purpose of studying, educating and enjoying, the material vestiges of the evolution of nature and humanity. One of the most important goals of a museum is to ensure the whole patrimony, all the collections, on the purpose to be useful for the next generations. The preservation consists of a sum of procedures used by the specialists of the museums to ensure the security of all objects, to prevent the slow damage of the vestiges, to exhibit properly the pieces in exhibitions and to slow down the action of damaging factors such as light, excessive heat, dust. In organizing a deposit, the most important stage is to elaborate the project. In such a project one must establish the nature and dimension of the module, thus one can avoid the differences between the objects sizes and those of the cases. In the same project, one establishes where and how the object is placed, the kind and size of the module. Then the modules are built and put in the deposit at their place. lt is very important how the deposit furniture is made for a better preservation of the objects. Representing the permanent place of preservation, the furniture is at a great extent important in the preservation of the objects through a complete laid position meant to eliminate any tension. The mission of preservation implies, beyond the profession, an act of devotion and attachment to humanity, an act of a great responsibility. The mobile national cultural heritage means for all those who hold it very serious problems and its very existence depends on the solving of all these problems. The heritage objects belonging to museum deposits, private collections, public or cult institutions, are, first of all, meant for the future generations and then to the present ones.
