Importanţa economică a bovinelor şi ovicaprinelor din situl neoeneolitic de la Fruntişeni (jud. Vaslui).

  • Subiect: Archaeozoological data about type Stoicani-Aldeni communities are few and limited to a list of the identified species and some osteometrice data. The purpose of this study is to obtain data paleoeconomică more elaborate on the importance of these species Bos Taurus (domestic beef), Capra hircus (goat) and Ovis Aries (sheep), of the site of Fruntişeni belonging to the Stoicani-Aldeni cultural aspect. Profiling slaughter for these species highlights he enhancement of meat and milk, but also labor exploitation for bovines. Also estimate seasonality charts for both goats and sheep illustrates rhythmic pastoral practice with a maximum in cold period.
