  • Subiect: Romanian royal military aircraft in national military commandment, during defence missions of national airspace In fact, on August 23rd 1944, most of the aeronautic Romanian militaries were fighting by the side of Germans and suddenly the ally became probably the enemy. lt was hoped in a friendly breakup. Through his orders, not even the superior echelon hadn't touch the immediate background of the problem, which should be the reaction towards the Germans and the behavior towards the Soviets. Without minimum predictions, initiative was needed and a lot of courage from every Romanian aeronautics' military. Beyond what the pro soviet propaganda told us, the events and statistics analyzed from the documents at that time, show us clearly how the breakup with the German aeronautic was made and how the contact with the Soviet aeronautic was made.
