  • Subiect: The soil layer is a result of former and present pedological processes, influenced by the general natural circumstances of the given periods. The composition of the soil layer is defined by interaction between the natural factors and the pedogenetical processes that had generated them. The relative high diversity of soil forming factors and the human interference determined a wide range of soil types in Satu Mare. In respect to this, on a relative small area, that represents only 1,85 % of the whole territory of the country, there can be found 9 from the 10 soil types, according to the Romanian Classification System. The most frequent are the luvisols soils. Summing up all agrochemical research, the reaction of the soil is moderate and heavy acidic on 210.000 ha (67 %); the supply with mobile phosphor is slight and very slight on 36 % and the humus reserve in too little an 35 %.
