Un document de epocă, Cazania lui Varlaam de la Pribeşti-Vaslui

  • Subiect: "The Teaching Romanian Book" of the Mitropolitan Varlaam found at Pribeşti-Vaslui, sets itself first through notings about important historical events which took through in the lands of Vaslui, being linked to the ruler of Moldavia, Dimitrie Cantemir and the battle of Stănileşti, near the Prut, in 1711 . On the second hand, the book is a real unique one through the keeping of the original binding, of Varlaam's handicraftsmen, especially through the restauration – the reparation of the inner leaves with leaves from a Slavonic printing. These elements show us surely ahain, that the people and language consciousness was a completed fact and the Slavonic language was nothing but a temporary cover fort the Romanian soul.
