Noi date istorico-arheologice privind Mănăstirea Floreşti, judeţul Valui

  • Subiect: New evidences historical and archaeological about monastery of Floreşti, Vaslui county As it is known, the Monastery of Floreşti, has certainly three phases of evolution. a) the first church was built from stone by Cârstea Ghenovici and his wife, Anghelina, it dated from the 1590-1596 period. b) the second church was also built from stone by Costache Gavril and it dated from 1686-1694 period. c) the third church was also built from stone by the Priest Nil and it dated from 1852-1883 period. Ali these historical facts was correlating with the new archaeological evidence, it results from archaeological researches, was relieved some important conclusions: a) from a planitremtrical point of view, all these are archaeological diggings of solving, didn't confirm the writing information, and come in contradiction with all documents from that time. b) all these phases of evolution to the Monastery of Floreşti are succeeded in the same place but in different periods of time. (There is an unitar point of view about arhitectonic, arhitectural and building plans of the monastery). c) the second church has initially a spur (of a church) built on its naresh. Monastery of Floreşti has an important role in sheltering and defendering of population from this area, in hard times.
