Tumuli din zona mediană a bazinului superior al Râului Bârlad

  • Subiect: The tumules from median region of Upper Basin of Bârlad river The explored region has been lived almost continually since the third mIllenium B.C. due to the various and good conditions of living standard. Among numerous materials vestiges remained from the autochthonous people as well as from some migratory people, the tumuluses have remained in these places. From these, the author has discovered an area of about 1 50 km2, over 60 tumuluses. The author has esta lished in the explored region the data of tumuluses as boing from the periods: -between the Horodiştea - Folteşti and Noua complex (enly Sabatinovka easton variant); -between Hallstatt emd - the fourth century A.D. The latter category has been divided in: -usual tumuluses (of everybody); -princely tumuluses. The author has supposed that each tumulus belonged to a group of related familias, they have been inherited by descendants, increasing on during their using period.
