Câteva consideraţii privind unităţile şi instrumentele de măsurat folosite de vasluieni în Evul Mediu

  • Subiect: This work presents the measuring units and instruments used by the inhabitants of Vaslui until the introduction of the metric system, as well as a presentation of the way in which our ancestors used to measure for a period of almost a millennium. The knowledge of the old measures and of the way in which length, surface, capacity, weight and volume used to be measured bas a great importance both for the knowledge of our ancestor’s life style and especially for the studying of the agrarian and commercial relations which can not possibly be thoroughly studied if these measures are not previously known.
