Biserica din Chiţorani, Prahova - între legendă şi adevăruri încă nedesluşite

  • Subiect: The Chiţorcani church, Prahova between legend and unknown truths Church with the titular saint "Saint Stelian'' from Chiţorani, Bucav Commune takes part in the national historic heritage being included, together with the bell tower on the Iist of the historic monuments. This church was built especially for the use of the people from Chiţorani (Constantin Cantacuzino cupbearer), but later he served the community when it was coagulated by the proper emplacement of the people from Chiţorani. From the historic heritage it is also taking part in the second church. In the north part, the wood church with the titular saint "Saint Nicolas". Regarding the church "Saint Stelian" centuries of history had left behind not only on the walls of the church, (the devastating earthquake of 1940 - which demolished it almost completely, but also those from 1977 and 1986, today the church needs consolidation and also need to be repainted), but also in its area. A part of them aren't distinct, although the clues of which we detain are making us think that it is the owner of a specific historic dower. In this way in the left part of the church - exists a funerary stone, which indicates the fact that in that part it sleeps Maria Constantini of Prezan. In the right part of the church are two metal crosses situated near each other. These belong to the American aviators, unidentified yet. The Church of Chiţorani, continues to keep further its legends and mysteries, having the hope that it will not be far the day, when together with the elucidation of these mysteries it will increase its attraction.
