Săpăturile arheologice de la Igeşti - „Scăndureni", comuna Blăgeşti, judeţul Vaslui (campania 2007)

  • Subiect: Section called "Scândureni" is about 500 meters north of the village Igeşti on the right side of the brook Lişcov, a promontory situated on average slope of the hill coming from the north, from Ciomaga, between two ravines with numerous springs which flows into the Lişcov brook. The dominant place, with gentle slopes to the east and abrupt to the west, now township pasture, provides favorable conditions for life, being used by Paleolithic peoples, recently exixting as a forest an don water streamline could be ranged in ancient times fish ponds. Here were found flint chips and tools.
