  • Subiect: This article brings information regarding the history of the holy halidom of Mălineşti Monastery, situated in the upper hydrographic basin of Bârlad river, near the current localities Gârceni and Băceşti. This data and short excerpts of old documents are presented regarding the former village Mălineşti: the first documentary certification of the domain dates back to 1 502 and that of the Hermitage was three centuries later.
